Birthday Celebrations

So it was my birthday on Friday :)

I had an awesome time back home with family and friends. It was just so chilled and relaxing and was really just what I needed at the moment. I haven’t exactly progressed from student life to full time work overly well as of yet.

I received a small token gift from Irish. Due to my lack of good sleep he bought me one of those teddy’s with lavender inside to help me sleep :) quite sweet of him.

The American on the other hand sent a BBM.. He is being a little odd lately. He’s text saying he has been “having a life rethink” and isn’t sure about studying philosophy or whether he wants to have children now BUT was clear he isn’t doubting moving to the UK?? He says he wants us to talk but “it won’t be a bad conversation”. Hmmm..

On a more funny note: one of my friend’s from home bought me an orchid for my birthday. She seems to think I spend too much time fretting over men and should channel my love into a plant. Wishful thinking but I am so scared of it dying! I am watering and spraying it.. possibly too much.. with the hope it won’t die. :/

My girls are coming down tomorrow to watch a show and go for drinks after :). I am rather excited! I feel that these final two weeks before my departure to the US are so full of things for me to do that time should literally fly by!
